Pre-Installation

At IAH™ we are committed to ensuring that every customer is satisfied. Full satisfaction of our extensions can by achieved by following these hair care tips. First and foremost, always shampoo the extension hair with a parabens free sulfate free shampoo before installation. If there are any problems with the hair, you will be able to detect them at this time. Hold hair and shampoo in vertical direction.

If you detect any problems, contact us immediately. If there are no problems with the hair within the first two weeks, it can be assumed that the hair is fine. If problems arise after two weeks, the problem does not lie in the hair or workmanship. Please feel free to contact us and we will try to help you resolve your situation.

CHEMICAL PROCESSING

IAH hair extension is completely Raw Virgin hair; our hair has ‘NOT’ been chemically processed in order to achieve its natural color.

Please note that mild/strong doses of peroxide can cause long term and irreversible damage to your hair leaving your extensions very dry and brittle, which can lead to split ends and the life expectancy to be shortened.

MAINTENANCE

In order to preserve and prolong the original state of your extensions we advise our clients to look after their hair ‘as if it is your own… growing from your roots’! We recommend regular shampooing and conditioning at least twice a month. When combing your beautiful extensions, start from the bottom of hair and gradually work your way up towards your roots.

Heat Styling and Appliances:

There are many different ways to alter and transform your look! Why stick to one style? IAH team recommend using heating appliances which are designed with Ceramic coated plates in order to maintain the natural Keratin layer of the hair while also providing a perfect finish. Remember! Always use a heat protector when placing heat on your extensions no matter how low the heat.

Styling without heat equipment:

Some people prefer not to use any heat appliances, which is perfectly normal. If this is the case for you, we would strongly recommend using Flex rods/Bendy rollers in order to style your hair. This can be done prior your daily/evening arrangements or kept in over night.

Prep for bed

Before going to bed, twist your hair into one loose large twist at the back of the neck.

After waking up, undo braid and paddle brush through beginning at the ends and working your way up to roots.

SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONING

We believe it is essential that you shampoo your hair locks at least twice a month using credible shampoo brands such as Phyto Specific, Morcocan Oil, etc.

Shampoo Application:

Comb your beautiful locks from rear to rear using a wide toothcomb, starting from the bottom and gradually working your way up towards your roots.
Part your hair in two sections
Wet your hair slightly
Apply shampoo from the bottom working your way up to the crown
Rinse
Towel-dry slightly for conditioning application
Conditioner Application:
Insure your hair is not completely dry and still parted into two
Apply Conditioner to hair closes to roots gently squeezing as you work it towards the ends, while gently combing the hair.
Leave product in for 15-25minutes (1Hour -2Hours if deep conditioning)
Rinse
Allow hair to towel dry and/or air dry

To add some finishing touches, we would strongly suggest that an adequate amount of hair serum be added onto your hair while in processes of completely drying in order to give your hair life, add that brand new shine, a health feel and look.

Swimming/Sauna

Before swimming apply conditioner to the hair. Twist hair into two twist at back of neck.

Immediately after swimming, rinse and squeeze shampoo through working from scalp to the ends of hair. Style hair as usual.

Returns and Exchange Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of your purchase in original condition with a valid receipt. Only weaving and braiding hair can be returned for a refund. Purchases made by credit cards will be refunded to the original card. All refunds will be subject to10% service charge. There is no service charge for exchange or store credit. We will ship the exchanged item(s) using the same shipping method as the original order unless instructed otherwise. Re-shipping charge will apply.

If you have received a wrong/damaged product, then please call us within 24 hours at

Re-shipping charge will apply and the shipping charges are not refundable. If an order with a free UPS-Ground shipping returns unclaimed, a flat shipping fee of $10.00 + return charge of $8.00, $18.00 in total will be deducted before the store credit is issued.

Shipping

Shipping Delays

Shipping delays may occur due to holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. If a guaranteed delivery is delayed due to weather or other natural disasters, there will be no guarantee. Since no one has control over natural causes, shipping charge will not be reimbursed. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times.

Shipping Cancellations, Refusals

For any shipments returned to us due to a bad address, refusal upon delivery, or cancellation, there will be an additional shipping and handling charge of 25% of your order total (50% on international orders). Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

If you are returning any orders that have received Free UPS Ground shipping, then a flat shipping fee of $10.00 will be deducted before the refund is issued.
